O mai gawd

I book an air e-ticket.

Now, I cannot cancel/postpone/advance it online or on phone or by e-mail. Not even at their counter at the airport which is open 24X7 and where i can saunter in, at any time as per my convenience.

They ask me to come to their back-office, in some remote corner of the city and their timings are 10-5 and my office timings are 8-5. :)

Did I tell you that they are closed for lunch from 1 to 2?

When will they learn the tricks of this business?

I did nothing but laze around over the long weekend just gone by and watched every movie running in the city. Parzania did not impress. Fightplan is avoidable. I slept for a good twenty-five minutes during Salaam-e-Ishq and when I woke up, I realised I haven't missed much. Happy Feet is okay-dokey.

Of late, I have become a couch potato[When wasnt, I were one? :)].
I am hooked on to The Office.Heroes has finally come to India.American Idol and The Apprentice started with their new seasons.

Recommendations:

Read The Last Bungalow:Writings on Allahabad

Read this even if you are not from Allahabad or have never been there. From Harivanshrai Bachchan to Rudyard Kipling, from Mark Twain to Ghalib. Hardly, does one come across such a constellations of literatis.

The timing could not have been better with the book release coinciding with the now running Kumbh.

Song in my Mind

"To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time for every purpose, under heaven
"

...and this too shall pass.

"...I swear it's not too late."
